-The Levitt AMP series continues, live at Pfiffner Park, 1100 Crosby Ave. Immegré is an afro-funk group out of Madison.

-Amber Grill continues their music series with Marvelous Marvin, 1001 Amber Ave.
Gluten Free Stevens Point – 3:30 P.M.
-Join others who live a gluten free lifestyle, Trinity Lutheran Church, 1410 Rogers St.
Iola Car Show – 6AM (July 12-14)
-The annual show returns to the Iola Car Show grounds, 130 Jensen Dr. in Iola.
Friday, July 13
Beer, Cheese and Pets Please – 6PM
-Join this fundraiser for the Humane Society of Portage County. Tickets are $35, $50 for VIP. Enjoy brews, wine, and cheese. PLEASE NOTE: This event benefits pets, but pets are not invited due to event site polices. This event is held at SentryWorld, 601 N. Michigan Ave.
‘Grease’ – (July 13 – 7PM/July 14 – 2PM)
-The Playhouse Theatre Group of Central Wisconsin presents the musical ‘Grease’, to be performed at Sentry Theater, 1800 Northpoint Dr.
Saturday, July 14
Live Music: The Oxleys – 7PM
-Head over to Central Waters, 451 Allen St., to enjoy live from this Milwaukee folk trio. Admission is free.
Pie & Ice Cream Social – 9AM
-Rising Star Mill will partner with the Portage County Historical Society for a pie and ice cream social, 3190 County Highway Q in Nelsonville.

Live Music: Scott Wilcox – 2PM
-Wilcox has been writing music for over 30 years. He plays Bullhead’s, 3368 Campsite Dr.
Monday, July 16
Open Mic Night – 5PM
-Held at Emy J’s, 1009 First St., this open mic night is held on every third Monday of the month.
Tuesday, July 17
Humane Society of Portage County Open – 8AM
-Held at SentryWorld, this is a 18-hole 4-person scramble for the humane society. Admission is $150.
Wednesday, July 18
Live Music: Southbound – 6PM
-Held at PJ’s, 601 N. Michigan Ave., enjoy live music from one of the area’s well-known country groups.
Thursday, July 19
Live Music: Bradley Sperger – 5:30 p.m.
-Enjoy live music from Bradley Sperger at Amber Grill, 1001 Amber Ave.
Live Music: Sweet Sheiks – 6PM
-The Levitt AMP series continues with music from the Sweet Sheiks, a musical act inspired by the Roaring 20’s. As always, this is held at the Pfiffner Park bandshell.
Portage County Fair of Amherst (July 19-22)
-This annual event kicks off at the Amherst fairgrounds, 4504 Fairgrounds Rd. in Amherst.

-Sidewalk sales, food and entertainment, all to show off Stevens Point’s lively downtown scene. Check it out, happening everywhere on Main Street.
Live Music: Jam’n’July (all day)
-One of the largest independent music festivals in the area takes form at Pfiffner Park, featuring some of the best heavy metal from around the state.
