Cultural Commons to Break Ground Along Wisconsin Riverfront in Downtown Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT — The Rotary Club of Stevens Point along with the area’s three partner/sister city organizations (Esteli, Nicaragua; Rostov Veliky, Russia; Gulcz, Poland) will host a groundbreaking event for The Cultural Commons.
The partnering organizations have since raised the necessary funding to launch phase one of the development. The Cultural Commons, an interactive garden and education space, is a gift to the people of Stevens Point from four partnering organizations and their donors and supporters
The groundbreaking event will be held at Pfiffner Pioneer Park, 1100 Crosby Ave. The event will take place at 11a.m., Wednesday, May 30. Community members are invited and encouraged to attend to learn more about his exciting project along our riverfront.
